Subject:            Filling up the post of Joint Commissioner, Group ‘A’ in the pay scale of Rs.12000-16500/- in the Office of Competent Authority, Kolkata

Sir/Madam,

            The Additional Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue in his d.o. letter dated 30.04.2008 addressed to Member (P&V), CBEC has requested for providing a panel of suitable and willing IRS(C&CE) officers of the rank of Joint Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner  for filling up the post of Joint Commissioner  in the pay scale of Rs.12000-16500/- in the Office of Competent Authority, Kolkata

2.         You are, therefore, requested to bring to the notice of all officers of IRS(C&CE) officers of the rank of Joint Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner in your zone and forward the names of willing officers to the Board for their cadre clearance positively by 15.5.2008. 

3.         This may be accorded top priority.
