Indian Customs is
celebrating International Customs Day on 27th January, 2011. The International
Customs Day 2011 is devoted to promoting knowledge, learning, management development
and professional training, and will have as its theme “Knowledge, a catalyst for Customs excellence”.
On the occasion of
International Customs Day 2011, representatives of the private sector or the
academic field would be awarded a ‘Word Customs Organisation Certificate of
Merit’ for their engagement with the Customs community and their contribution
to the enhancement of knowledge in the field of customs law, procedure and
administration.
In order to identify
representatives of the private sector or the academic field for awarding a ‘Word
Customs Organisation Certificate of Merit’ for their engagement with
the Customs community and their contribution to the enhancement of knowledge in
the field of customs law, procedure and administration; nominations are invited
from the private sector, academic world and general public. The nomination
should be sent by email as well as in signed hard copy in the following format so
as to reach the under signed by 7th January, 2011.
