PRESS NOTE
The Central Government has issued two notifications No. 05/2008- Central Excise (N.T.) and No. 06/2008 – Central Excise (N.T.) both dated 24/01/2008 prescribing applicable rate of abatements, for the purpose of payment of central excise duty on the basis of retail sale price, on the following goods:
