Sub:-Japan-WCO Human Resources Development Programme to award Scholarship for the Masters Degree Programme in Strategic Management and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) at the Aoyama Gakuin University (AGU) in Tokyo from April 2011 to March 2012 -reg.

            The World Customs Organization in its communication (10 HL-0202E/T.N dt 16/07/10) has invited nominees from Member Customs Administrations to avail Scholarship for the Masters Degree Programme in Strategic Management and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) at the Aoyama Gakuin University (AGU) in Tokyo from April 2011 to March 2012 under Japan-WCO Human Resources Development Programme.

 

2          The scholarship is aimed at promising young managers from Customs administrations who are fully proficient in English.

 

3          The relevant Administrative provisions including the conditions of candidacy and selection are attached to the WCO communication.

 

4          You are, therefore, requested to forward nominations from willing and suitable officers who fulfill the criteria specified by the WCO along with vigilance clearance from your side. The nominations may be sent early, so as to reach the Ministry, latest by 25th of August, 2010.  The nominations should be accompanied by the completed application form. For more information you may refer to the documents received from World Customs Organization (WCO) which are uploaded on the CBEC website.
