This
notification imposes anti-dumping duty on Di-sodium Carbonate originating in, or exported from, Peoples Republic
of China

(a) Di-sodium Carbonate originating in, or exported from, Peoples Republic
of China has been exported to India below normal value, resulting in dumping
;
(b) the India industry has suffered material injury;
(c) the injury has been caused cumulatively by the imports from the
subject country.
Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of
section 9A of the said Customs Tariff Act, read with rule 13 and rule 20
of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection
of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury)
Rules, 1995, the Central Government, on the basis of the findings of the
Designated Authority, hereby imposes on Di-sodium Carbonate. falling under
sub-heading No. 2836.20 of the First Schedule to the said Customs Tariff
Act, originating in, or exported from People Republic of China, and when
exported by the exporters mentioned in the column (2) of the Table annexed
hereto, and imported into India, an anti-dumping duty at the corresponding
rate specified in column (3) of the said Table.
